The dynamic centre made a try-scoring return in the opening match of the 2009 RBS Six Nations against France, after being out for a year with a broken arm. Helping Ireland to a historic Grand Slam.
A few weeks later D’Arcy added to his silverware with a Heineken Cup winners medal for Leinster. D’Arcy was then called up to the B&I Lions.
