Pablo Canavosio
Round The World Champ
Canavosio returned to Italy in 2008/2009, rising to MPS Viadana after two seasons at Castres. He is one of the options for the number nine shirt, however in the National Team he is an eclectic player. In his career he also held the positions of center and wing. A native of Cordoba, yet with roots in Piedmont, he has also played in Cammi Calvisano. Internationally, since the first debut with the National Team he has been a strong point of the Seven Azzurri. In the national team since 2005, when he made his debut against Australia as a scrum half, he has so far collected the most rewarding wing: his goal of memorable interception in 2006 in Cardiff, against Wales, when Italy won the first useful result away in the 6 Nations. Convened for the 2007 Rugby World Cup in 2008 has jumped to injury throughout the 6 Nations. In 2008/2009 it was scrum-half owner in the November tests against the Wallabies and Pumas. Remained in the pits often stopped in 2009 due to physical problems, he is back in the national team for the 2010 6 Nations. Party on the bench in the last four days of the tournament, made the decisive cap against Scotland in Rome and went beyond the line a week later in Paris against France.
