Paul Derbyshire

Derbyshire-profile

Derby King

Derby grew in Piombino, matured in Knights Meadow and the high-level format of the Under 25 Stade Français and later he returned to Italy playing for Rolly Gran Parma. He is one of the finest pieces of Italian youth: he has worn the Azzurri shirt at every level, from Under 17 to Italy 21. He is a modern third line, with a great ability understanding the game, especially in the lineout, a quality that makes him a great jumper added. Excellent with the ball in his hands, and capable of ensuring an effective defensive presence. He plays in the Magners League with Benetton Treviso after closing his adventure with the Excellence Petrarca Padova. He was the National Under-21 captain who got two wins - on Scotland and Wales - at the 6 Nations in category 200 and in the same year he participated in the preparation for the Rugby World Cup with the National Staff, where he made his own debut two years later against Australia in Canberra. He was part of the Azzurri for all the 6 Nations 2010, off the bench against England and France. First as a starter in the National Team against South Africa in East London, he was among the athletes even more apparent during the Cariparma Test Match 2010, highlighting himself as an athlete capable of giving an important contribution in the last twenty minutes of the match.
