Samuel Eto'o
Eto'o is widely regarded as one of the best African footballers and the best Cameroun players in history. He started his career on Real Madrid but he exploded at Mallorca where he won the Copa del Rey in 2003 and scored 48 goals in 120 matches between 2000 and 2004. In 2004 he joined FC Barcelona. During 5 years he was one of the best players of the team, and participated actively of the winning of an unbelievable collection of trophies. He was also the Liga Top scorer and the UEFA Champions League best forward in 2006. Thus he succeeded in scoring 108 goals in only 145 matches for FC Barcelona, which ranked him in the short list of the best players in the club’s history. In 2009, he signed for Inter Milan, and won five trophies in 2010 including the FIFA Club World Cup. In August 2011, he joined FC Anzhi Makhachkala. He is also the captain of the Cameroun National Team and is the African Cup of Nations all-time Top Scorer with 18 goals.
