Melbourne, the sporting and cultural capital of Australia, home to two of Oz’s most famous T.V soap exports (Neighbours and Kylie Minogue), the legendary Steve Irwin, St Kilda beach, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Royal Botanic Gardens, MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) and a deep-rooted appreciation of the “amber nectar” – yes, PUMA Socialites will fit in perfectly!

We unleashed a handful of over-excitable After Hours Athletes on Victoria’s state capital to see what the city had to offer an intrepid band of brothers and sisters by way of nightlife. Get the low down with our Melbourne weekend guide!

What to eat? Parma and pot. No, it’s not an Ozzy pool tactic – it’s your next pre/post party eating and drinking extravaganza! Parma and pot is a staple part of the Melbourne diet and consists of chicken parmigiana and a pot of the frothy stuff. P & P deals can be found on the menu of numerous pubs and bars around the city, so make sure you hunt out a bargain to ensure you have a bit of dough in hand for that quiet (*ahem*) night out you had planned.

Where to go? Head to Phillip Island and check out the Cape Woolamai trail*, go people-watching for PUMA Social peeps and join Melbourne’s sophisticat café culture, take a road trip along Great Ocean Road, catch the surf or just a drink by St Kilda beach. For an authentic slice of what it means to be an Ozzy, we recommend spending a day immersing yourself amongst the raucous ranks and spend a day watching Australia’s unofficial national sport at the MCG...it’s a bit like being at a PUMA Social Club; the only difference being the jibes are mostly directed at a group of men dressed rather unfashionably in white standing in the middle of a finely tended field for 8 hours.

Where to shop? Queen Victoria market is a gigantic hotbed of souvenirs, Collins Street and Brunswick street for the high-end pieces to dress those PUMA kicks up or down and what city would be complete without the big cat as your ultimate fashion guide?! Melbourne has PUMA stores aplenty!

What to wear? Bring out the colour for summer - How about a modern take on the classic PUMA Suede with the PUMA S Mid Womens?

Where to party? Try out the latest PUMA Social craze and smash some Piñatas around the city on Friday at our Piñata party.

What to say? You flamin' galah, you’ve knocked me tinny on the cloth yer’ yobbo!

Translation: Silly boy, you’ve spilled my drink on the pool cloth you hooligan!
