The Global Impact

With the Bring Me Back Program, materials are put back in the right place. This way, we don’t steal from nature, but borrow. And borrowing is a good thing.

  • I:CO works with SOEX Group, a global market leader for textile and shoe recycling. It processes 1,000 tons of goods daily. (That’s a whole lot of trash diverted from the landfill.)
  • Recyclable InCycle products can be reprocessed into new products by breaking them down and recycling them into new raw materials.

  • bag Your donated goods are sorted according to more than 400 criteria in order to give them the best possible second life.
  • insulation Your goods could turn into automobile or home insulation.
  • bag If you like running, you’ll love this: your shoes might become a new track.
  • carpet-underlay Materials from your recycled shoes can be used for all sorts of exciting, useful products. Like carpet pads.
  • carpet-underlay Save the virgins! Recycling old products means less virgin raw materials are used to develop goods.
  • By collecting your used clothes, you help build a better waste stream. For that, we thank you!
  • Return old gear and give valuable resources another life. Or else, it ends up in a landfill. And that’s no fun.
  • By contributing products to the Bring Me Back program, we turn the “cradle to grave” model upside down.
  • In an industrial composting system, microorganisms process biodegradable material from our InCycle products. So materials become part of the ecosystem again within just six months.

Straight from the Bin

  • Goodbye lightweight trainers, learned my lesson not to run 40+ miles a week in you. Now I will ice my poor feet.

  • Thanks for holding all my stuff for the past few years. But, I’m a high school grad now and I’m replacing you with a new messenger bag. It’s nothing personal. I just can’t be seen at college with an old back pack. It’s time to move on buddy, peace.

  • So long sore feet! G'bye squished toes! I can walk a mile in my PUMA Suedes, but only ten feet in these heels. So adios painful shoes!

  • G’bye Dokken, Kiss, and Eagles of Death Metal t-shirts. I'll never forget the years we spent together: hotter than hell. It is hard to let go; sometimes breaking the chains is the best way. But this is death by sexy, as recycling is the sexiest way.

  • We’ve been together for 3 years. We were so comfortable, like we were meant to be together. I’ll miss our long walks and our jogs, but it’s time for something new. I never knew I’d get attached… to a pair of sneakers. Goodbye, Faas 500’s.

  • See you later, stack of denim! You'll be much better off than you have been sitting high up on a shelf in my closet for the last few years. We've been around the globe and on so many adventures, but now it's time for a new journey!

  • Why the PUMA Bring Me Back Program?

Why the PUMA Bring Me Back Program?

PUMA is dedicated to making a smaller impact on our earth. The Bring Me Back program is one way we do that. We’re taking what would normally be trash, and breathing new life into your old sneakers, used t-shirts, and last season’s tote.

By taking old clothes and re-using, re-cycling, or re-purposing them, we mitigate the amount of virgin material that would otherwise be used to make new products. This partnership with I-Collect creates a closed-loop system that diverts product from the landfill, and becomes a new product.

  • How do I deliver my contributed items?

How do I deliver my contributed items?

Place all unwanted clothing in a bag (paper or plastic is okay, we’ll recycle it). Walk, skip, jog, or bike to your nearest PUMA store. Say hello to our friendly shop staff and place your goods in the PUMA Bring Back bin.

When the bin is full, we send it off to our partner I-Collect. They deliver your goods to a regional processing plant for sorting, repurposing and recycling.

  • What items can I contribute?

    What items can I contribute?

Any clean footwear, apparel, or accessories (think totes, purses, gym bags) that are taking up room in your closet, locker, or under your bed. We’ll take that pair of broken heels so you can fill the space with a shiny new pair of PUMAs!

  • What do I get for my contribution?
