PUMA is thrilled to sponsor the 2010 Boilermaker 15K Road Race in Utica, New York! With a challenging, spectator-lined course, the Boilermaker 15K is often referred to as the best 15K road race in the United States and has been named by the Analytical Distance Runner as the most competitive 15K road race in the world.
Established in 1978 with just under 800 runners, the Boilermaker 15K now hosts approximately 10,000 runners of every age and skill level, and has grown to include fitness and special events throughout the weekend designed to promote an active and healthy lifestyle and fun community involvement.
As the official supplier of footwear, apparel, and accessories, PUMA will debut the brand's newest Complete Running styles, the Vectana II and Velosis II. PUMA will also offer race participants and attendees a full brand experience with games, music, and prizes. PUMA's Speed Trap will also be on-site, giving runners a chance to compete to see who can run at the fastest speed.
If you would like to experience a Boilermaker race without committing to a 15K, try the 5K, the 3 Mile Walk, or the Miler, then celebrate your achievement at the Post Race Party at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company!
And, if you need new sneakers before the race, be sure to check out Sneaker Store in New Hartford.
