What happens when creative brand and creative minds come together? The answer is PUMA Creative Factory.
Now in Ukraine you have a really cool tool to express your individuality. After the successful introduction of Mongolian Shoe BBQ in 2005, which allowed consumers to custom-create their own shoes in-store and online, PUMA launches the PUMA Creative Factory, an updated shoe customization concept that features new styles, fresh materials and a completely new design process.
At the PUMA Store in Caravan shopping mall in Kyiv beginning the end of November 2010 you will have a chance to build your very own sneakers from an assortment of materials and fabrics. PUMA will provide all the needed tools to let you be the designer, including fabrics, materials and use of an Apple iPad for rendering the final design. You start by choosing a footwear style – either the Basket or First Round – and then mix and match colors and fabrics to create a truly one-of-a-kind kick. Once you finalize their design on the iPad and pay for their creation, the order is sent to a production facility where the product is assembled. Approximately 6 weeks after the order is placed, you will receive the shoes.
Elka, Vlad Yama, Andrey Khlyvniuk, Lilia Podkopaeva, Andrey Domanskiy, Alena Shoptenko, Lilia Litkovskaya and Aleksey Mochanov have already made their one-of-a kind pairs of PUMA Creative Factory sneakers. Stay tuned for the updates on the official launch of this initiative, taking place on November 30, 2010 in Kyiv.
