PUMA Uncovered is a music event that was initially inspired by the PUMA Archive collection of sneakers, apparel and accessories. Originally issued in the past and each with their own interesting and heartfelt story, these styles were re-issued to present day. This collection includes the Suede and the T7 Track, born in 1968 at the Summer Games in Mexico, worn by the 100-m gold medalist Tommie Smith. Today, the Suede is worn by hip-hop enthusiasts, hipsters and trendsetters alike.
PUMA Uncovered pays homage to the masterful art of cover with today’s killer bands and artists challenged to play sets of songs harking back to yesterday’s classics and artists that they respect and have inspired them. PUMA Uncovered started in 2008 in Australia and has since been staged in other Asian countries like Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong.
