Mohamed Zidan is a famous Egyptian player who won different titles in the Danish League and the Bundesliga. Zidan started his career in Akademisk Boldklub but he became famous in Midtjylland where he scored 30 goals in 47 matches between 2003 and 2005. With Midtjylland he was the Danish Superliga top scorer in 2005 and 2006, the stadium was nicknamed “Zidan Arena” and his number (14) was retired when he left the club to join Werder Bremen. He also played for Mainz 05, Hamburg and in 2008 he signed for Borussia Dortmund, one of the best German teams, where he won the Bundesliga title in 2011. He also appeared 38 times for the Egypt National team and won the African Cup of Nations 2008 and 2011.
