But, there’s added spice to this year’s fixture! Not only are there bragging rights at stake, it’s a top of the table clash between the Premiership’s two highest scoring teams.
PUMA Football stars Nemanja Vidić, Phil Jones and Michael Carrick will welcome Sergio Agüero to the Theatre of Dreams in what could be a season-defining 90 minutes of action. Vidić will have to keep a close eye on Agüero who has proven to be an inspirational signing; leading his side to the Premiership summit with eight goals already this season.
Apart from some long term injuries, the home side emerged unscathed from their midweek Champions League encounter in Romania, whilst Sergio Agüero is expected to start after coming off the bench to fire his side to victory.
With an array of global stars now plying their trade in the blue side of Manchester, the gap between the two sides has never been smaller! Will big-spending City upset their near neighbours or will the champions show their class? Who’ll be the happier on Monday morning?
