This is the PUMA Shadow Society - a highly diverse group of characters, taste makers and PUMA sneaker aficionados, who have set out to redefine the meaning of sneaker "co-lab." For the PUMA Shadow Society’s encore, they chose to stick with the iconic STATE silhouette & bump it up a notch...by taking it outdoors. The GTX States, made of rich suede & a GORE-Tex lining, has a gusset construction and gum bottom.
This UK-specific sneaker has a legacy - in the 80s, the PUMA Suede became the ‘it’ shoe on the hip hop scene in New York City. As the music moved across
the pond, the style did, too! It was re-christened ‘The State’ after its birthplace, and was adopted by UK trainer aficionados and football terrace fans.
The GTX States launches in selected stores on December 16th.
