There’s a packed international fixture list this evening, but PUMA Football will be keeping an eye on the Germany versus Italy clash as these two giants of European football go head to head

The Azzurri are likely to give Brazilian-born Thiago Motta his first cap, whilst German coach Joachim Löw is expected to start with his strongest side in what we expect will be an action packed encounter in Dortmund. Although the match is a friendly, history shows us that it’ll be a close fought, exciting and passionate contest between two old foes.

Who can forget the memorable 2006 World Cup semi-final where Italy overcame the Germans 2-0 on home soil with goals from Fabio Grosso and Alessandro Del Piero as they marched to world glory?

Germany boasts several talented youngsters who have settled effortlessly into the international fold, but history certainly favours the Italians who have won 14 times from 29 matches against the Germans who have recorded just 7 victories – so it’s difficult to predict who will win!

You can tell us who you think will come out on top using the PUMA Life Scoreboard.

Life's more fun when you're keeping score.
