You Can’t Stop Glory
Cameroon’s national football team are considered one of the most successful and recognized teams on the Continent. The last few decades have seen the Indomitable Lions repeatedly change the course of football history. In 1990, they became the first ever African team to reach the Quarterfinals of a FIFA World Cup™. And in 1997, when they teamed up with PUMA, they defied traditional uniform conventions. Inspired by the players’ spontaneity, PUMA questioned the need for sleeves and the proposition of a separate shirt and short. And so Cameroon’s controversial sleeveless jersey and the UniQT (a one-piece kit) were born. The current squad mixes young players with experienced heads. It promises to keep Cameroon’s legacy-in-the-making in forward motion.
