Club Atlético Independiente is considered one of the Argentina’s big five football clubs, it is the third team with most national league titles and it is one of the two clubs to have never been relegated. Independiente is also the most successful club in the Copa Libertadores with 7 titles (most prestigious club competition in South American football) and the only club to have won 4 finals in a row between 1972 and 1975.
