Diego Velasquez
The Kind Of Guy Who Follows Through
Many things motivate Diego Velasquez: U2 songs, good Italian cooking, and his driver. Always up for the challenge that is golf, Diego hails from Bogota, Columbia with an on-course performance that is nothing short of consistent.
The 22-year old was a four-year starter at Oregon State University. In 2010, he set a single season scoring record and earned First Team All-American Honors. He recently clinched the #4 spot in Golf Week Magazine’s 2010 individual collegiate rankings and a sponsor exemption on the 2011 Nationwide Tour. Diego’s post-collegiate, professional career kicks off at the Panama Claro Championship with a bagful of Cobra clubs and know-how to spare.
