Eric's F1 Italian Travelogue

Hi Guys, Eric here! What's there not to like about the Italian Grand Prix? Monza is a unique racetrack and there's always a fantastic atmosphere. The Tifosi are noisy, the officials are friendly, the weather is superb and the food on-sale around the circuit is unlike anywhere else in the world. Only at Monza can you find pasta and red wine being sold from the back of a van!

More than anything, Monza is about Scuderia Ferrari. The team finished second in the inaugural Italian Grand Prix in 1950 and the team has won at Monza 18 times. It has won races that incorporated the banking; it has won races on the modern layout. Team principal Stefano Domenicali even lives one kilometre from the pitlane.

It’s impossible not to get caught up in the patriotic atmosphere created by the passionate Italian fans. I had a ball from start-to-finish, so please take a moment to look at my photographs from the weekend.
