The upcoming Volvo Ocean Race is bound to be quite a journey and this site will move you from ‘bird’s eye view’ to ‘on deck’ so you can enjoy every action-packed moment with our crew.

 

Our team is currently training and prepping for the start of the race October 2011―and this site will give you tons of opportunities to get ready with us. We’ll have exclusive Team Interviews, a new collection of Sailing Products, News & Media to keep you up-to-date on all VOR happenings and Contests so you can get in on the action.

 

Not to mention that we’ll be revealing our new boat design in Spring 2011.

 

In the meantime, check out our new PUMA Team. For 9 months, this crew will take daring turns at the helm, log 37,000 nautical miles, and share one bathroom. Here’s your chance to get to know them (almost) as well as they know each other.

I have been trying to figure out what Mar Mostro means, and in what language. The closest I have found is Sea Show, or Sea Monster in Portuguese. It would be fantastic if you could let me know. Cheers!
