Yuvraj Singh and the Pulse 5000

Yuvraj ‘Yuvi’ Singh is one of India’s most prolific middle-order batsmen. He impressed everyone with a valiant 84 against the mighty Aussies in just his second match. The biggest highlight of his limited-over career would have to be the 2011 ODI Cricket World Cup where he scored a total of 362 runs, took 15 wickets, won 4 Man of the Match trophies and even the Man of the Tournament trophy. No points for guessing why India won!

In 2007’s ICC World T20 Super 8 match, he hit six sixes off Stuart Broad’s over – a record that had never before been held in T20 cricket and certainly never existed between two Test playing nations. Yuvraj is also one of the finest fielders in the Indian cricket team.
