Gysbert Johannes Muller
All Hail The Captain
Gysbert Johannes Muller played lock for the Sharks between 2001 and 2010. Thanks to his on-pitch performance he was selected for the first time in 2006 against Scotland. In 2007, during the Springboks home tests, he was named captain of the Springbok team against New Zealand. After that he was selected for several Tri Nations, and in 2007, became a member of the South African National Team which won the World Cup in France, entering the pitch four times. In 2010, he moved to Ireland to play with Ulster, where he is currently Captain.
