Hey There Delilah
Delilah DiCrescenzo has made big strides since graduating from Columbia University in New York City. She was third in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the 2011 USATF Championships, qualifying for the U.S. World Championship Team. DiCresenzo was also third in the steeplechase at the 2006 USATF Championships and has a personal best of 9:41.68 for the event (and a 15:40.00 for 5,000 meters). She is a 2005 Columbia University graduate who won three Ivy League Heptagonals steeplechase titles. She was fourth in the 2009 USA Cross Country Championships and was 33rd, the second American, at the World Cross Country Championships in Jordan that year. She was the 2007 USATF National Club Cross Country champion. DiCresenzo is also the subject of the Plain White T's Grammy Nominated song, "Hey There Delilah". She attended the Grammy's with front-man Tom Higgenson in 2008 when the song was up for the award.
