Eilidh Child
Eilidh Child is one of Britain’s top female hurdlers. She set the Scottish Under-23 (U23) record in the 400 meter hurdles in 2008 and finished third at the 2008 Olympic trials. She placed second in the 400 meter hurdles at the 2009 European U23 Championships and earned a spot to compete at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin. This year she made the final at the European Championships in Barcelona and set a new Scottish Record of 55:16 at the Diamond League meeting at Crystal Palace. In addition to excelling on the track, Eilidh works as a Physical Education teacher.
