Kudos to the Reggae Marathon for winning the Abe Issa Award for Excellence

Marathoners, sports enthusiasts and even beginners come together for this fun weekend event to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and listen to Reggae music. Not only is the Reggae Marathon Jamaica’s premier International Marathon Event, but it also recently received the Abe Issa Award for Excellence. This award, accepted by Chairman Richard Lake, was given to the Marathon for its significant contribution to bolstering Jamaican tourism and reputation, bringing honor, fame and glory to the country.

The Reggae Marathon has been promoting long distance running in Jamaica over the past 11 years and plans to continue doing so with the 12th annual Reggae Marathon race 7 on December 1st.
