PUMA Athletes at Commonwealth Games

The first day of track and field competition at the XIX Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India has begun!

Yesterday PUMA Athlete Moses Kipsiro had a sensational win in the 5000m, finishing in 13:31.25!  Kipsiro ran a 53 second last lap, out-kicking former world champion Eliud Kipchoge (13:31.32).

Other top action included PUMA Athlete and Jamaican Champion Oshane Bailey finishing with the fastest time (10.12) of the second round of the Men's 100m.

Mark Lewis-Francis won the first heat of the Men's 100m in 10.20 and was the fastest in the first round with 10.15.

In the fourth second round heat, Jamaican Lerone Clarke clocked 10.19 to win.

The Commonwealth Games will continune until October 14.  Stay tuned for more updates as the events continue.
