Question: What should I be eating after a hard workout?
I just started working out again and am wondering what I should eat right after a workout to help with my post workout recovery. There is just so much conflicting information out there. I don’t know what is actually right.
We all know that runners can be particular about what they eat - especially on race day. Whether it’s part of the set of runners’ strange superstitions, or whether it actually does have a physiological advantage, planned pre-race meals, post workout snacks, and in between race nibbles can be the difference between a great race and an okay one.
