Though it may be fine for bears, winter hibernation doesn’t exatly work for runners. Despite limited hours of light, freezing temps, biting winds and icy roads, we just can’t resist the urge to lace up. So when you hit the streets, here are some tips to keep you safe and healthy during cold-weather training.
What does Usain Bolt do so well in his races that makes him the world’s fastest man?
As the world’s fastest person, Usain Bolt has shown us, race after race, world record after world record, the depth of human speed potential. We know when he steps in the blocks - no matter who’s on either side - he will do all he can to finish first and finish fast. But what if Bolt’s competition wasn’t a person? What if Bolt could represent how human speed stacks up against mechanical muscle or what would happen if he sprinted side by side with some of the world’s quickest creatures?
Not in his best form? Though Usain Bolt has publicly suggested his fitness isn’t in the same record setting state as in the 08-09 seasons, his field leading first round qualifying time of 10.10 seconds hints at the contrary.
Last Sunday, PUMA supported Actor Josh Duhamel and the American Red Cross as part of his Relief Run for Japan. Duhamel was in full PUMA gear, including his Faas 500's as he led the run. :)
