Blog from Tony Mutter's Son, Alec

For the past two days I have been in Capetown, South Africa. My Mum, my sister Cassandra and I are waiting for my Dad, Tony Mutter, who is a sailor on the Puma boat. Unfortunately they have broken the mast but luckily they were given diesel from a cargo ship so they could go to Tristan de Cunha. Tristan is an island in the South Atlantic Ocean. It is part of England. The island is 6 miles wide and its population is only 262 people. It is the most remote inhabited island on earth. I hope the mast is fixed soon so my dad can come home, and the other fathers as well.
