He's Done It All
April 12, 2011Last week was Kimo's birthday. We called to say Happy Birthday, to which Kimo responded, "Did you know I sailed my first 21 day race from Tahiti to LA when I was 16 years old. I can't believe I've been doing this for so long!"

Busy Building A Boat

Building Our Team
March 11, 2011While their new boat is being build, the PUMA crew is spending a good part of their training on team building. After all, these 10 sailors will to be spending A LOT of time together between now and July 2012 when the Volvo Ocean Race finishes in Galway, Ireland. PUMA's next team building exercise will be sailing onboard Jim Clark's Hanuman in the BVI Super Yacht Regatta. Unlike a Volvo Open 70, Hanuman is a 137' aluminum J-Class replica, a replica of Endeavor II built in 1937.
